What is Crazy Sexy You? My 21-Day Total Wellness Program

read all about it

Hiya Gorgeous!

By now you may have seen the buzz about Crazy Sexy You: A 21-Day Total Wellness Program (created by moi). Well, I wanted to take a minute to explain more about it here.

But first, it’s important for me to share where my passion for this program came from.

Quite simply, I created what I needed when I was at a turning point in my life. When I needed help, guidance, and a well-vetted plan with a proven track record.

I was tired of being confused by conflicting information and I was overwhelmed with fear and doubt. But most of all, I just didn’t feel good and I knew life had more in store for me. If only I could find my way…

Well, over a decade later, I created the blueprint I needed (and that you may benefit from too).

I took all my research, testing and fine tuning and put it into a cohesive program that’s built with one overarching goal in mind: your success.

So I’d love to tell you about it, and if you’re inspired, click the links in this article to learn more. Because no matter where you are or what you’re going through, you have the power to change your current reality—to feel better, do better and be better in all aspects of your life.

Crazy Sexy You At-a-Glance

For 21 days, plus some prep and wind down time, you and I will focus our energy on your total well-being.

But it won’t just be us, because it takes a village to change habits so you’ll also have our two registered dieticians, our chef and team leaders coaching you every step of the way.

Plus you’ll have the full-support of our private community. Phenomenal, caring people will be there for you around the clock–going through the same challenges and triumphs. Big shifts and deep connections happen in this space.

You see, Crazy Sexy You isn’t just a cleanse or a diet. It’s much more well-rounded than that. This program is a self-care reset designed to help you take back your health and your power.

You’ll have the opportunity to heal your relationship with food and your body, to learn new cooking skills and expand your recipe repertoire, to explore simple fitness routines that will strengthen your body and spirit, weekly coaching videos that motivate you to keep going, and soothing meditations that will uplift your mind.

In my experience, most programs only focus on one aspect of well-being. But you and I both know that it’s gotta be holistic or it won’t stick. So as we’re upgrading your diet, we’ll also be nourishing your mind, body and spirit. This is why I call it a “Total Wellness Program” and why so many people have had life-changing transformations.

In fact, I can honestly say that Crazy Sexy You is a complete wellness practice that will sustain you for life.

But, here’s the main reason why Crazy Sexy You works.

I’ve taken 100% of the guesswork out of the equation. Every meal, every shopping list item, every workout and meditation, every to-do and how-to has been thought through and laid out for you in a simple (and fun!) way. All you have to do is follow the steps. That’s it. Click here to learn more.

It’s taken me years to create this, because I had to make sure it worked. Well, last year we led thousands of people through the program with phenomenal success. They lost pounds and inches, improved their sleep, boosted their energy and much more. Since then I’ve made Crazy Sexy You even more cost-efficient, easier to follow and more effective.

Now I don’t know about you but I often like to hear about other people’s experiences before I commit to something new. I can’t think of a better story to share with you then Dawn Marie’s. When you hear what she’s been through and where she is now, you’ll fall off your chair.

Meet Dawn… this gal is my personal hero!

https://vimeo.com/266507929

Dawn Marie was diagnosed with Stage 2 Primary Biliary Cholangitis, an autoimmune disease that impaired her liver function. As a result, she was at risk for needing a liver transplant. Though she was being treated with medications, the side effects were horrible, including debilitating fatigue and extreme itching.

Then, after just 3 weeks on Crazy Sexy You, her side effects completely disappeared. And guess what happened next? (This is where I totally lose it)

A few weeks after completing the program, she went back to the doctor and learned that her liver tests were almost completely normal. Her stage 2 disease reduced to a stage ZERO! (Happy dance!)

I know first hand what it feels like to be saddled with a life-threatening illness. It’s a world of scary. I love Dawn Marie so much. She makes me feel like my own wellness dreams continue to be possible. Not only is she no longer in need of a pending liver transplant, she lost a significant amount of weight and feels like she got her life back.

Please take a moment to watch her extraordinary story above.

If you want more from your life, reach out and grab it. It’s within your grasp. You can succeed this time. You can feel better. And, I’ll be there with you every step of the way.

Peace & healing,

    Good morning,
I’ve signed up to join the 21 day waitlist. How often do you run the program? Would the crazy sexy diet book contain all the information as I may go ahead and purchase that.

    Kind regards,

    Nicky

    • Janine, Team Crazy Sexy says:

Morning Nicky, this is Janine from team Crazy Sexy! We don’t have a set frequency for the program, but we’ll keep you posted when we are about to open the doors for it again! While Crazy Sexy Diet (the book) is filled with suggested recommendations for creating your own plan, in Crazy Sexy You we’ve done all the work. Kris and our team have mapped out the entire program with weekly meal plans, recipes, shopping lists and more! You’ll also get access to custom workouts, coaching videos, and meditations!

  2. Sarah Stith says:

Hello! I would love to start the 21 day plan in my Crazy Sexy Diet book but have an extremely tight morning routine. I’m a teacher and have to get up at 4am in order to fit in “me” time and get to work on time. I recently gifted myself to right to sleep later and try to fit in “me” time later in the day because I was finding that getting up that early was leaving me tired and depressed. It’s pretty impossible to go to bed earlier because of family after school obligations. I also get up before the rest of the family and won’t be able to run the juicer without waking up the rest of the crew. All that to ask for suggestions for work around…could I have my green juices when I get back from school maybe? Any other thoughts?

    • Jennifer says:

Hey Sarah! This is Jennifer with Team Crazy Sexy. Kris has a beautiful motto “progress, not perfection” which is a great thing to keep in mind. Don’t let your routine slip because it’s not do-able… allow yourself some time when you need it. It’s best to have your green juice when you can make it happen, rather than skipping because it doesn’t work at the time you’ve chosen. You could also do some juicing ahead of time if that works better for you. Depending on your juicer, you could do it a day ahead (or the evening before). Experiment to find what works, and that’s the best solution for you! Keep up the great work, Sarah! Xo from all of us at Team Crazy Sexy.

  3. Ann Marie Cewe says:

I bought one of kris’s Cleanses and I cannot access it. Can you help me?

  4. Carole A Bass says:

I have been a member of Crazy Sexy You for two sessions. I recently moved and had to change my email address. I could not find how to change my email on the Facebook page and have been out of touch. I need help logging on to the group as I need the support that it provides.
I moved to Northern California from Southern California a month ago and there is a really strong possibility that I lost my new home in the fire burning in Butte County.

  5. Sarah Gahlon says:

I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis 3 years ago and avoid grains (which increase thyroid response). Is this plan something that might still work for me?

  6. Dolly Chavan says:

Is this diet for kids also? My daughter is 12 and she is showing sign of insulin resistance. Her dad is diabetic. i am trying to find out how can I help her so that she dons not become diabetic.

    • Jessi says:

Hi Dolly! I’m the Customer Service Lead here at kriscarr.com. When it comes to nutrition, the Crazy Sexy You program provides plenty of calories, protein, and calcium to meet children’s needs. However, if continuing on a plant-based diet, children should supplement with vitamin B12 (either through a multivitamin or supplemental), vitamin D, and DHA to meet their needs. Our Nutrition Director has years of experience with both Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes in both a personal and professional capacity and has been key in developing Crazy Sexy You, so it’s perfectly healthy for anyone with these type of health needs. If you haven’t already, be sure to get on the waitlist (https://kriscarr.com/join-crazy-sexy-waitlist/) so you can be among the first to know when we’re ready to open the doors in 2019!

  7. Kim Sanders says:

    Dear Kris,
I would love to join your 21 day program. My husband is suffering from cancer and I’m his sole caretaker. At this time, I’m unable to afford to join as much as I love to. It breaks my heart as I feel it’s just what I need.
    Thank you & God bless,
    Kim Sanders ?

    • kris says:

Hi Kim. I’m sorry to hear that you and your husband are going through a tough time. I’m sending you both lots of love and support. I’ve got some free tools that you might find helpful, such as meditation tracks, healthy recipes and a Starter Kit (which will give you some ideas for simple self-care practices you can try, even while you’ve got a lot on your plate). You can find those resources here: https://kriscarr.com/shop/free-downloads/. I hope they help. Big hugs! xo, kc

  8. FRAn says:

  9. Rachel says:

I have a limited grocery budget for my family each month, is this program/recipes budget friendly?

    • Jessi says:

Hi Rachel! I’m the Customer Service Lead here at kriscarr.com, and wanted to let you know that grocery costs will vary depending on your location. Keep in mind that because we map out all your snacks, meals and treats, you won’t be spending money on restaurants, take-out, fast-food or other groceries. In fact, many participants report that they actually spent less money during the program than they do on an average week. We’ve also worked very hard to keep your grocery costs down and to minimize your food waste during the program.

We also provide cost-saving tips as well as notes for buying in bulk and online that help reduce expense. And, the pantry items you may need to purchase will last you far beyond the 21 days of this program! If you have any other questions, please send us an email to info@kriscarr.com 🙂

  10. Jennifer M says:

The link doesn’t take you to join the wait list. It takes you to the free wellness videos – which I gladly signed up for :)! Am I doing something wrong to get on the wait list? Thank you!!

I’m excited to start the 21 day total wellness plan but…No coffee, right? Can I substitute tea, or is caffeine in general a no-no?

  13. Honey B says:

Amazing Program as it looks best program for this summer season. I hope to be there.
Can you give me more details on this programme ?

  14. Sara says:

HI! I finish my last chemotherapy treatment in a week and a friend recommended I look you up 🙂 I am SO eager to start my wellness journey. When will your next 21 day program be available? Much love! Sara

  15. Dani says:

Hi, I love your books, I once followed the 21 day challenge in your book crazy sexy diet and had great success. Is this similar? I am desperate to do another 21 days and hit this full swing again. Is there a way to start the program on my own before your live event? Thank you in advance, you inspire me every day.

  16. Kathy Olson says:

I am a type II diabetic and have been eating a plant-based diet for about 2 weeks. However, my numbers still run high especially in the mornings (last A1C was 11.9) and even meds (I take a lot) aren’t working. I wonder if I am eating too many carbs (brown rice or quinoa or fruit) though many of the plant-based advocates say that one does not have to count carbs as long as you are plant-based and low oil. Will this eating plan work for me? Is it low “added oils?” Dietitians, help!

  17. amanda mason says:

Do I need a juicer and if so, which one are you recommending these days? It is all very confusing.
    Thanks.

  18. Jill says:

I already follow a plant based diet. My husband & 2 daughters eat a lot of plant based food but they are not completely plant based. I cook for my family of four so how can I follow this plan and also feed my family?

    • Kris Carr says:

      That’s a great question!

The more you can include your family in Crazy Sexy You, the more successful you’re likely to be over the long haul. Consider making double portions of your dinners so that everyone can try some and take part in the taste-testing. Kids love the morning smoothies too. Freeze extra servings in popsicle molds for a special treat.

When it comes to nutrition, the Crazy Sexy You program provides plenty of calories, protein, and calcium to meet children’s needs. However, if continuing on a plant-based diet, children should supplement with vitamin B12 (either through a multivitamin or supplemental B12), vitamin D, and DHA to meet their needs. Look for chewables or sprays such as the ones available through myKind Organics.

I hope this helps! 🙂 xo, kris

  19. patricia says:

I would like to do this program, but I have a prior commitment that do not make it conducive to eat from this plan( we will be staying with friends at their beach house, most food is ordered out for the mass of people staying and not necessarily individuals. I can bring food, but cooking in front of everyone just for me is intimidating. How can you help me overcome these obstacles as I really want to try this program!
    Thank you, patricia

    • Kris Carr says:

So happy you asked this, Patricia! Summertime can be a busy time. But so can the rest of the year. There’s always a reason to put your wellness second and your plans first, so I hear ya. If you’re worried about getting derailed by something like this, I’ve got your back. You can definitely prep your meals ahead of time and bring them with you. Use all the support in our community, daily emails, Guidebook, Social Survival Guide and Support Center to help you enjoy your special event while doing your best with CSY. We have tons of strategies for adapting CSY to travel and social events. You might stick to the program or just modify it for a day or two. All that matters is that you jump back in as soon as you can and that you put self-acceptance first. Remember, progress not perfection!
      Onward, sweet friend. You rock!

  20. Gina Maria says:

I am vegetarian and avoid dairy, gluten and soy. Is this plan feasible for someone like me?

    • Chrissy says:

Yes!! I did it last year and every meal is free of gluten and dairy. It’s all plant-based, whole food! Recipes that have soy ingredients give an option to make it soy-free. I can’t recommend this program highly enough!!

    • Kris Carr says:

So happy you’re interested! This program will work for you. All the recipes are dairy- and gluten-free, and I’ve included suggested substitutions for all soy foods in the CSY recipes and they are also noted in the shopping lists. Hope that helps! xo, kris
