Dear ones,
In over 20 years in business, I’ve never pulled a live program moments before I was set to deliver it, but that’s what’s happening.
I’m canceling the Energy Bootcamp and refunding everyone who signed up.
This is a hard one. My entire team has worked on this experience for months. Many of you signed up for it and set aside time to participate. Here’s the problem: I’m facing some personal challenges and just don’t have the energy it would take to lead a 5-day Energy Bootcamp right now.
I could do my best to “suck it up” and go forward anyway, but I refuse to fake it. I’d feel out of integrity if I proceeded, plus it’s the opposite of what my body needs. I always want my first act in teaching you anything to be modeling it — embodying how it’s done. And I want to do that now by showing you that, sometimes, tending to your energy means saying the hard No.
To be fully transparent, Brian and I are feeling very tender right now. His amazing mom passed away last week and it’s a big loss for our entire family.
On top of that, I had another cancer scare (at the same time). Thankfully, all is well. Perimenopause is just kicking my ass and apparently I’m not making certain hormones my body needs. So, I’m starting another wellness detective journey and I need to hold extra space to nurture myself — at least for the next few weeks.
I hope you understand and I want you to know we’re here to listen if you have any questions or concerns. Simply email my team at hello@kriscarr.com.
I also hope you’ll tune into next week’s podcast (airing on July 24th) where I’ll share more details, while also exploring the power of allowing yourself to disappoint people –– to say Yes to yourself, even if it costs a No to someone else. I know it’s a tough topic for many of us and we’ll brave those waters together.
With appreciation,
P.S. I don’t know when we’ll be able to recommit to the bootcamp, so there are no new dates to hold for now. If you’re interested in joining, enter your info below to join the waitlist and you’ll be the first to hear if we’re able to reschedule. Xo
