Healthy Homemade Popsicles

Creamy Dreamy Orange Popsicle

Based on Orange Dream Smoothie from Crazy Sexy Juice
Makes 7-10 popsicles

Ingredients

  • 1 orange, peeled, pith removed, and cut into quarters
  • 1 banana, frozen
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract or powder
  • 1/8 cup raw cashews
  • 1-1/2 cups nondairy milk of choice

Directions

1. Wash and prep all ingredients.
2. Blend till smooth and serve.
3. Carefully pour into popsicle molds and freeze for at least 4 hours.

 

Decadent Dairy-Free Fudgesicle

Based on Chocolate Avocado Smoothie from Crazy Sexy Juice
Makes 8-10 popsicles

Ingredients

  • 2 small bananas, frozen
  • 1 to 2 pitted Medjool dates
  • 1-1/2 tablespoons cacao powder
  • 1/4 Hass avocado
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup baby spinach, tightly packed
  • 1-3/4 cup almond milk or nondairy milk of choice

Directions

1. Wash and prep all ingredients.
2. Blend till smooth and serve.
3. Carefully pour into popsicle molds and freeze for at least 4 hours.

Optional chocolate dip:
3 tablespoons melted coconut oil
3 tablespoons cacao powder
1 teaspoon maple syrup
1 pinch sea salt

Notes:

  • Need popsicle molds? Here’s one great option!
  • If your pops feel stuck when they come out of the freezer, run them under water for a few seconds.
