C Bomb

This immunity-boosting beverage is all about vitamin C, which may also help to prevent high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Win-win! I love the purple-haze color that red cabbage lends to this sweet-spicy juice, but green cabbage is a fine replacement if you don’t have red on hand.

Ingredients

  • 1 cucumber
  • 4 stalks celery
  • 2 small apples, cored and seeded
  • 1 1/2 cups red cabbage
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, peeled

 

Directions

1. Wash and prep all ingredients.

2. Juice all ingredients.
